What is the Constant Disciple Project?
Since Mike and Perry began writing Christian music in November of 1997, many of our friends indicated that they would like to be a part of our mission. We really did not know how to include them since we both write and perform our own music. It should be noted however, that several of our friends help us bring the music to life and perform it with us both on Sundays, and on our album. Anyway…as people continued to approach us about being involved with our music ministry, we also had people ask us if we had a tape or CD of our music. How cool is that?!?! We finally decided that it would be fun to record an album which could be used to further distribute our music and give people ways to share it with others. So we came up with the idea of selling “shares” to a group of investors. The investors would loan us money in small increments (with no guarantee of financial return). In exchange, they would become part of the Constant Disciple Project and partners in our music ministry. They also got their names printed on our liner notes and receive special pricing on our music CD’s and tapes. Even though people had indicated a desire to participate in our music ministry, we really we skeptical that they would actually loan us money. To our surprise, we had more than enough people happily invest in our project and the Constant Disciple album became a reality in Nov 99.Who are the members of the Constant Disciple Project?
